What is Artificial Intelligence ? What's Difference between AI and Machine learning | Everything about AI

A while back , someone who answered all your questions used to follow all your commands,

were only in fantasies. And it was nothing short of a golden dream as if you had an Aladdin Lamp. But today in 21st century Something exist which follow all your command which is a Computer. Computer only follow your command but it can't do something on its own because it does not have brain as humans have.

But what if the computer kept in your office starts thinking like a human being and perform your task on its own and without your command,It will be very helpful for you

And this technology is called Artificial Intelligence, or AI that can think like a human being, and can perform any task on its own So that it can make human's work easier.

In Simple If a computer has a brain like human, it will be called a Artificial Intelligence.

We Humans have done many inventions but we have invented a thing which is many times more intelligent than us which is nothing but AI.

And this artificial intelligence is not a future technology. You use this in your daily life like if you see tech videos on YouTube then YouTube will recommend more videos related to technology in future recommendation of YouTube videos is also done through Artificial Intelligence. but its not just that small and recommending video is not true AI  its just a subset of AI which is called Machine Learning or ML.

some people are very confused between AI and ML so let me tell you Inshort that Machine learning can also perform tasks by itself, but it has to learn first to perform that task. let understand this with an example Like if you teach machine learning to drive a car then it will drive the car as it has learned this but if you give Machine Learning to fly a plane then it will fail as it does not have any programs to fly plane and not have learned this earlier.

but you will be surprised after knowing that if an AI learn car driving then you will give a plane to AI to fly, it will will practice on its own and soon it will become expert in flying the plane .

this is just an imaginative example but you can connect it to real life that how advance is AI , and in your daily life you normally use machine learning(like YouTube algorithm) or weak AI (like Google Assistant) .

How much AI is  advance, you can guess from the fact that it has also solved a jigsaw puzzle by himself. without any jigsaw puzzle solving program coded in it.

today AI is being developed so fast that you cant even guess it but it will help humans to solve mysteries that have not been solved yet, and can also be used to cure disease like cancer in humans.

The capacity of human brain is considered as 2.5 petabytes, while computers has unlimited capacity as it is increasing along with advance technology so AI will have larger data storing capacity as compared to humans 

AI can also become very dangerous to humans as there are many evidence of this like on august 2017 Facebook developer team did an experiment in which they made two AI Chatbot and rather than talking to human they made two AI chat bot to talk to each other , and both AI talked to each other in such a way that even facebook developer team also did not understood what they are talking . Those two chatbots talked to each other in their own language, about which Facebook did not even know.

And it is not a common practice to develop own language and after this experiment facebook discontinued his experiment.The machine that can develop its own language can also prove to be a danger for Humans, and facebook had already guessed it, and it's not just one such case , there is one more in which a self driving AI uber taxi hit a man he died on the spot , and a Robot Sophia made by hanson robotics when asked "will you destroy humans" she replied ok I will destroy human civilization 

People ignored this thing said by a robot but was it just a joke?

If we talk about AI more in deep then it is categorized in 3 category and the first one is Weak AI or narrow artificial intelligence which is expert in a particular specific field like if you develop a chatbot then it will only talk to humans and if you give him command to clean the house then it will not be able to clean as it is expert only in specific field. You will be surprised after knowing that in today's advanced robots also weak AI is used.

and the second one is Strong AI or artificial General Intelligence which is much advance which can think like a human and do all the things that a human can do

And it does not exist now, but perhaps we can see such technology in the future.

and third one the most powerful AI which is called artificial super intelligence singularity which is much more powerful than a human brain And if Strong AI is developed, then it  will make itself so advanced and develop itself that it will become more powerful than human and that time is called Singularity, and no one predicts about singularity that will they follow command of us or not.

Artificial Intelligence is a very wide topic that can't be predict, will it be helpful for human civilization or not but it is certain that the speed with which technology is advancing, we may see advanced AI in the future.
